Sligo Folk Park
Sligo Folk Park, based in the scenic village of Riverstown, Co. Sligo, is a wonderful visitor attraction which provides a realistic experience of life in rural Ireland and Irish heritage at the in the late 1800's.
The folk park is located in the grounds of the restored Millview House, which was originally built in 1873 by George Reid, a farmer, shoemaker and church sexton.
Explore the park on foot in any weather and visit the fine museum and fascinating exhibition hall which presents one of Ireland's best collections of rural history and agricultural artefacts.
A particular highlight of the park is the village street, which includes a recreated street with a creamery store, grocery shop and pub.
