Sligo County Agricultural Show

The County Sligo Agricultural Show takes place annually in mid-July. It was established in Riverstown in 1994, taking over from the show which always had been held in Sligo town. There will be something for everybody including Horses, Ponies, Connemara Ponies, Young Stock, Riding Classes, Sheep, Cattle, Poultry, Home Industries, Dog and Cat Classes. Many of the classes are qualifiers to other shows in Ireland.

There are also games for the children and not to mention the all important Bonny Baby competition, Little Miss Riverstown and Little Master Riverstown. Last but not least The Best Dressed Lady of the Show. Lots of on field entertainment too plus, trading stands and food.
