Charles Macklin Festival
The Charles Macklin Festival is an arts and heritage festival which takes place in the village of Culdaff and celebrates the life and work of local born 18th century actor and playwright, Charles Macklin, "The jew that Shakespeare Drew" (Alexander Pope). Taking place in Culdaff, Inishowen, Co. Donegal, the festival includes Theatre Events, Music, Creative Writing, Poetry, Art Exhibitions, Heritage Walks and Street Events.
