Mohill
Mohill is close to more than a dozen angling spots which makes the town a centre for anglers coming to the region. Two notable persons have links to Mohill town. The statue of Turlough O' Carolan(1670-1738), a famous 17th century blind Irish harper is located in the centre of Mohill town. Also Rev. Arthur Hyde who was the grandfather of Ireland's first President, Douglas Hyde, was rector here during the 19th century.
