Carrigallen
Carrigallen is situated in an area of numerous drumlins between counties Cavan and Longford. It is particularly notable for being located at a point in the south Leitrim, that the three provinces Ulster, Leinster and Connacht meet. There are 14 excellent fishing spot within a radius of 5 km of the town and these are well-stocked with all the well-known specimens. Archaeological remains are plentiful in the district e.g. Errew Graveyard, Kilahurk ring fort and Clooncorrick dolmen, called the King's Grave.
